Unlike most of the cars on this five of the best list the Fiat is affordable to all. With prices starting at just £7,900 the impossibly cool supermini can be on your drive for a fraction of the cost of the other cars here. One problem though: the European Car of the Year 2008 is in such high demand that you'll have a job getting your hands on one - meaning you may have to actually pay over list price if you want to get in one early. You might want to wait though, as the 500 comes with the potential to be had in over 500,000 different specifications, so if you want to spec yours exactly how you want it you'd be better to opt for a new one.
Underneath those retro lines basically lies a Fiat Panda, so you're assured of an enjoyable drive. But, really, nobody cares about that, as the 500 is all about looks, and if you're driving one in 2008 you're sure to get plenty. |
